Hi!
This is the P-cnc. It is a CNC machine I built to be small, relatively cheap and as powerfull as possible. I use a makita RT007C on it, but i included a bracket for the dewalt router.
I use it mostly for acrylic and aluminium but it will cut wood no problem. The parts are designed with pretty loose tolerances so I recommend you print some test pieces and than adjust the included CAD file as you need.
It utilises Nema 23s on all three axis, X& Y are driven by M8 lead screws and Z is driven by a 12mm lead screw. All three axis ride on 20mm ground shafts with linear bearings. It has a 28x25cm built volume, with 8cm of Z travel.
The machine is built inside a 20mm thick wooden frame ( I used OSB), pdf an svg templates are included, it is pretty simple to built, I recommend you have the pieces cut to size at your local hardware store if you do not have access to a table saw. The rest of the cuts are not critical and can be made with any tools you have. If you do not feel confid
