Paint and Stain Drying Rack

This painting and stain drying rack is a simple to print painting tool. It gives you a place to set things like coasters, tiles or even bookmarks you are preparing or painted to dry with minimal impact to the surface while promoting airflow. Why? I designed this because I found when I was trying to prepare wood or ceramic tile for laser engraving (such as on the H2) I was always getting paint or stain rubbed off or in the wrong places, having to recoat each piece I was working on. This rack allows airflow under each piece and the “nubs” raise each item only touching a very small part of whatever it is you are trying to work on. I have used this for many years with great success. The tray you see the drying rack sitting in is nothing more than a cheap dollar store cupcake carrier. I sized this try to fit in that container. I also use old cardboard boxes as a holder for the rack, such as when spraying a clear coat. The beauty of this is you can print as many as you need pretty quickly. I
