Pandora Ring

The item I decided to redesign for this contest is a Pandora ring. I actually own a ring very similar to this model. It has a rose gold band, and hexagonal zirconia stones. If you were to buy the real ring online or in stores, it would be 100$. The solid works model I made has a diameter of 2 mm. The stones on top are also present on the bottom of the ring. On the side of the ring, are engraved shapes. It goes all around the ring and goes deep into the ring by 0.02 mm. The textures and materials are polished gold(tinted pink), and the stones are brushed titanium. For a total time of designing this solid works model, it took only about a couple of hours. I decided to design a ring because I love jewelry. I wear multiple rings and bracelets everyday. Plus, I have seven ear piercings and I wear earrings all the time. Doing this project was kind of a challenge because I had to create different planes in order to make the engravings on the side. And to make the stones on the top, I had to make one stone, then use the circular pattern to make it go all around the top of the ring.
