Working in Fusion 360, With parts around my house to see if I can make a makeshift PAPR system using more in stock parts right now. ("Bag over the head/drawstring" type gear.) If this doesn't work, I always have wiggle room with swapping other stuff in.
It would be cool to leverage small available HEPA filters that are for desktop air filters to make something more comfortable than face-masks for medical setting. If there's a good design than others could use it to kick off their own prints.
An alternative also brainstorming is to cut down furnace filters that have a high rating. They have (in my research) a minimum particulate size and filtering efficiency similar to n95.
If also for the benefit with a lower intake is in less direct exposure to patients respiration.
Next stuff is a adaptable one way valve and frame for the head. This should be similar to the existing face shields being printed.
