Parametric Box 1

I uploaded a parametric box yesterday and mentioned I thought of better designs after printing it. This is the first of those.

It's a pretty typical box with a sliding lid. There's two handles on the lid that can double as feet if you flip it over. I think it would be a great display stand for whatever object you have inside. The lid can only go in and out on one side of the base.


Inside the Fusion 360 file, there are user parameters you can edit to change the size of the box or the walls or whatever, really. There is also a component called "STL Gen" that should have the objects oriented in the best position to print.

Disclaimer: I haven't had a need to print this yet, but it should work great. You might need to change the slider_tolerance for your printer or if you print at a lower layer height.
