Recently I bought a T12 soldering station kit without case, with the idea of making my own with my printer. So, I came up with this very simple yet useful design.
It basically consist of a profile wich provides rails to easily fit panels to conform a box. As FreeCad file is provided, you can change dimensions to fit your needs and make plenty of boxes!
Profile has a screwhole, whose diameter can also be changed, to fix a panel to it (just as I have done with the T12 case). It's also provided a finishing corner in case you use the same profile not only for lateral panels but also for a front or back one. These corners should be glued.
I tried printing profiles in vertical position, but print time raises up to 3 times. Printing in horizontal position gives good results and no supports are needed. Different infills should be tested to suit your preferences, 25% infill with 2 perimeters shells its quite stiff.
As it can be seen on the pictures, end result is really neat and good
