I don't like drill stop designs where a screw touches the drill, as they tend to skew on the drill, especially on drills with thin blades, like wood drills. With this design, the whole inner surface of the drill stop holds the drill.
To assembly it, you need an M3 washer, M3 nut and M3 screw, 12mm length (it may be a little bit shorter for smaller drill diameters). The nut should be a very tight fit to prevent turning.
A tip for an easy insertion of the nut:
- insert a long M3 screw (at least 20mm) through the screw hole
- put the nut on this screw and screw it till the nut is in the position
- gently unscrew the long screw leaving the nut in the place
- put the washer and the final screw
