Hi,
On long bike tours i often bring a small stove to have coffee and maybe some warm food, however these small Ebay/Aliexpress burners provide poor support for anything larger than a teacup :/
So i decided to design my own support and removed the supports from the existing burner, the design goals were:
- Lightweight
- Small/Portable
- Stable
- Easy to use/setup
- Adjustable
- Parametric design
I thought of various designs but eventually decided to keep it as simple as possible. I started with a generic clamp i had downloaded some years before and modified that to my needs. For this occasion it was modeled for a Campingaz CG1750 bottle, but any bottle should be easy to adjust for.
In one of the earlier designs i had the rods running to the bottom of the base, but it required a much larger clamp and thus required more space to store.
Obviously you'll have to fabricate the aluminium supports, they are made from 4mm rods. The length and bend angle depends on your own n
