I've seen a few truly parametric reloading trays but none that used a honeycomb arrangement. I decided to make my own in Fusion 360 because I like the simplicity and low filament usage. Fusion 360 has a free license for personal use, so just about anyone can make a tray to their own specifications.
All the parameters can be set through the Modify>Change Parameters menu. I've included a screenshot of the Change Parameters panel on the Mac. The only caveat is that you need to perform a Combine operation after changing the parameters to get a single body for export.
I've created a body as large as 25x25, but one that large takes quite a bit of processing power. I've included an example STL that fits .223/5.56 cartridges. It’ll fit 9mm Luger as well, although the walls may be a little high.
I’ve added a photo of my first test: a 2x2 tray for .223/5.56 ammo. Except for the grid size, it was created using the default settings in the .f3d file.
