Big thanks to the people listed in the derivatives section of this thing for inspiration!
Requires Parametric star library by Gaellafond (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3194819) as a dependency. place star.scad in the same directory as the .scad file to run.
preview.stl is not intended to be printed, but to show how the assembly will look once assembled. It's only to generate a thumbnail.
If you have more than 10 numbers on the dial, it will then start counter letters after 9 (starting with A). Set the number of dials to 16 for hexadecimal.
Parameters include:
* Number of dials
* Number of sides on each dial
* How deeply the digits are engraved
* Top and bottom radius for the end dials
* How tall each dial is
* How much wider the base is compared to the dials
* How tall the endcaps are
Tried to get this to run in Customizer, but I consistently got errors. It does run correctly in OpenSCAD.
