This parametric slicing model takes an imported STL and transforms it into a layered, architectural-style form with a clean base. It is designed to be flexible, readable, and easy to tune. The model works by positioning the imported mesh, slicing it into vertical slabs, alternating sections for the signature striped effect, and then adding a contour base underneath so the result feels grounded instead of floating off into the sunset. There is also a separate parametric wall-panel generator designed by me that can be used to create custom artistically shaped panels: Parametric Panel Maker. The two models work well as companions, but combining both into one setup quickly becomes more complicated and less versatile. Sometimes the best design choice is knowing when not to make geometry do acrobatics. How to use it Load your STL file by changing model_file.
