(parametric) Pet Bowl Riser

A parametric pet bowl riser designed to give your pet better posture while eating. Raising the bowl to the right height can make a real difference, especially for larger cats and dogs. Fully parametric, so you can dial in the exact fit for your pet and your bowl. Parameters: outer_diameter - the outer diameter of the riser in mm. The difference between outer and inner is always 20mm. inner_diameter - your bowl's diameter plus 10mm. This is what determines the actual fit for your bowl. leg_length - the length of the legs in mm. A note on leg length The riser adds 20mm total height on its own, 10mm from the bottom base and 10mm from the top rim. So when calculating your desired leg length, subtract 20mm from your target height first. Finding the right height for your pet Every cat and dog is different. A quick search online for your specific breed will usually give you a good target height to aim for. This one was built for a Maine Coon using 70mm legs. My example settings My bowl has a diameter of 185mm, so I used inner_diameter 195mm and outer_diameter 215mm with 70mm legs. Print settings No supports needed.
