Parametric Photographic Filter Case

A parametric photographic filter case - just edit the file for the filter and screw size you require and use openscad to generate a DXF ready for laser cutting. As laid out it will house a single thin filter. If you're wanting to store thicker filters like variable ND or circular polarisers then you can just cut extra layers.

To create a box for multiple filters of different sizes just set the case size to a fixed value large enough for the biggest filter and generate a file for each of the filter sizes you want to store. The screw holes will all line up and you can bolt together a filter box as wide as you require using threaded bar rather than bolts.
