Parametric Pyramid Puzzles

This project is closely related to my Parametric Pyramid Puzzle - thing:3930116.
Basically, it is a simplification, focusing on the structural elements of the tetrahedron.
To date, two unit shapes are available: octahedrons and spheres.

The octahedron version is easy to print without support and build plate adhesion.
The spheres version yields probably prettier pieces, but printing may be more challenging. I got good results by printing on a thin raft with 0.2 mm gap, no support, cutting off 0.25 mm from the base of the piece in order to get more contact area. For reduction of raft material, I added an STL with dense packing of the pieces.
So, if you simply want a copy of this puzzle, just print "Kugelpyramide.stl" and have fun!

The OpenSCAD file shall invite you to design other pieces for different puzzles.
I'd be delighted to find someone creating a remix or to post a make.
