I designed this transport rack for my 6" Refractor to fit inside a Geoptik soft case. I had issues with the dew cap sliding off and the telescope shifting during transport. This system locks the telescope in place and keeps it level.
While the included STLs are for my specific dimensions (157mm Tube / 212mm Dew Shield), the included OpenSCAD file is fully parametric and universal.
__**Key Features:**__
* **Auto-Aligning:** Simply enter the diameter of your front dew shield and your rear tube. The script automatically calculates the necessary height for each bracket to ensure the axis remains perfectly level.
* **Protection:** Includes a "Front Shield" acting as a bumper for the telescope bag. Can also be used as an end cap for thr rods, if the height is reduced.
* **Stability:** The parts are connected via two 10mm aluminum rods (design has 10.5mm holes for fit, what can be changed).
**Hardware needed:**
* 2x A
