While the design can also generate printable balls, that is not the main intended use. In practice, printed balls will usually not deliver especially good real world bearing performance. For best results, use real BB balls or other spherical balls of suitable size. The ball diameter is freely adjustable, so you are not limited to one specific ball type. Because the model is intentionally highly parametric, it is possible to enter combinations of values that produce impractical or broken geometry. That is normal for this kind of design.
