Looking for a spare throttle for my paramotor.
A few designs but I want something easy to print to decided to see if I could make a concept.
2 versions of the grip, with guard and without.
Idea is if you fall the guard should protect from full throttle, i added some ribs but maybe still not strong enough I will try it.
The kill switch plate is small so can be modified to fit what you have, currently 7mm hole to be tapped to M8.
Not a split design as cable can pass through the body to the switch, should be stronger for it.
I am printing the outer grip in TPU with low fill to give some soft grip and to hold the hand strap.
I also need to measure cable throw, I have 2 versions of the lever, this one is cranked to give more throw it i need it.
Print final will be PLA-Carbon for strength and as it looks cool!
I have printed pins for a return spring, 6.5 x 22mm type from Amazon that will snap the throttle closed.
No cruse control as I don't use it.
