Parcel shelf hinge Megane

Hi everyone,

I needed some replacement parts for the parcel shelf of a renault megane. The parts are no longer distributed by renault, and very hard to find in scrapyards.
Some people sell 3D printed parts on the web, but i find it quite expensive and appears to be of poor design and quality.

Long story short, we needed a FREE alternative for these parcel shelf hinges.


You'll find the 3D model for the Right (D) and left (G) hinges (FreeCad 0.21 and step). The model is not perfect but it works ok. Feel free to adapt and improve this concept as you may need.

This model was printed with the Formlabs Tough 2000 resin, which is a bit UV and Heat sensitive. We will see how it goes.
But i have no doubt you can use plenty of other much more suitable materials.
