I purchased a [Parson Table](https://www.westelm.com/products/parsons-dining-table-rectangle-f866/) from West Elm and used it as my office table. Unfortunately, it wasn't really designed for this purpose and I found myself constantly bending over to do things on it. After I got my 3D printer, every problem in my life became fixable through janky design and extruded plastic - the table was no exception.
This is a very simple design that will give your Parson Table five (5) additional inches of height. I have put well over 150+ pounds on top of the table and the extensions remain in perfect condition and show no signs of giving way any time soon.
Print this at 100% infill and have about 2kg of [filament](http://amzn.to/2yDO6Bc) on hand. I printed two legs at a time and used a fresh spool of 1kg (PLA) [filament](http://amzn.to/2yDO6Bc) for each print job.
