Pipe fittings are used in piping systems to change the direction of the liquid flow, connect pipes of different sizes, change pipe diameter and branch the liquid flow from one pipe into multiple pipes. Pipes come in several types and sizes. They can be divided into three main categories: metallic pipes, cement pipes, and plastic pipes. Metallic pipes include steel pipes, galvanized iron pipes, and cast-iron pipes. Cement pipes include concrete cement pipes and asbestos cement pipes.
