Following on from feedback regarding material usage in PASH2.5, PASH85 seeks to reduce the overall footprint and print time for PASH-style designs.
* Base has been reduced in width to 100mm, for a total footprint of 100x160mm
* Rollers have been shortened to 85mm. Clearances for 608ZZ bearings reduced to 22.5mm diameter, 7.5mm depth. Please leave feedback.
* Sides have been updated to use m3 nuts and bolts for reinforcement (Design space calls for button-heads, but countersunk will work in case of clearance issues) - blind versions in development (test versions uploaded)
* Side geometry also adjusted to allow for taller sides, in a vain attempt to stop spools from falling over
* Braces are slightly bodged from 95 to 96mm width, because somewhere down the line I didn't account for adequate clearance there
---
PASH85 is currently functioning but requires testers. Count as of publication date: 2 in existence.
(Photos of said prototypes are forthcoming as soon as I get them
