Patterned Ventilation Boxes with Lid I originally made this OpenSCAD script because I bought a bucket of activated carbon pellets and wanted a nice-looking way to mount them inside my 3D printer cabinets to help reduce odors and improve airflow a bit. But while making it, the project evolved into a much more flexible parametric storage/filter box generator. The script generates fully customizable boxes with: Adjustable dimensions Adjustable wall thickness Optional sliding lid Optional screw mounting holes Solid or patterned bottom plate 4 different grid styles: Square Triangular Honeycomb Vertical lines Personally I ended up using the vertical line pattern because I really like the clean look of it. You can also adjust: Grid opening size Grid bar thickness Lid clearance/tolerance Rail system dimensions Screw hole size/count Side pattern placement Bottom style For activated carbon pellets, desiccant beads, silica gel, etc. it’s a good idea to measure the material first before choosing t
