PCB Vise

After numerous modifications done to my Velleman Vertex K8400 printer (see my other posts), I ended up with big pile of leftover parts and decided to make something useful out of them. Please keep this in mind before you start questioning why this vise contains steel rods and Igus sliding nylon bushings.


Vise can hold PCBs that are up-to 130mm in size.

Parts include:
- 10 x M3x16mm screws,
- 2 x 8mm x 132mm steel rods
- 2 x 16mm x 8mm x 25mm Igus sliding nylon bushings
- 1 x 3/8" x 6" full threaded bolt
- 2 x 3/8" nuts
- 2 x 3/8" washers

During assembly fix the nut that is closer to the bolt head in place with few drops of threadlock or glue.
