Pecan Nut Cracker

My father in Law gifted me a bunch of pecans and I only found nut crackers that worked better for walnuts, so I watched a few videos of the best way to crack them and I designed a hand cracker. From what I understood, the pecan must be placed with the seam parallel to the cracker.
