This is Cory, my first attempt in combining a 3D print design with a servo sensor.
Concept derived from the idea of tomographic reconstruction, as a way to evoke the integrals of a 3 dimensional form. The main objective of tomography is to acquire the internal workings of an object without actively cutting or dissecting it. Taking the fundamental idea of parallel waves penetrating through an object that can be reformatted in multiple planes, I attempted to deliver a "tomogram” in a 3D format instead of a 2D imagery.
1. He's assembled from individual planes without using glue or tape.
2. Two micro servos are inserted to make his wings flap, with a soft pot. as the controller(red board)
