Penrose Impossible TriangleDid you know that the Penrose Triangle, one of the most famous optical illusions, actually exists as a real-life statue? In Ophoven, Belgium, artist and mathematician Mathieu Hamaekers constructed a real-world impossible Penrose Triangle. Although it's gone, it is still one of my favourite statue. This 3D-printed Penrose Triangle with Stand is a tribute to the fascinating geometry behind the Tribar, originally designed in 1934 by Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvärd and later made famous in 1954 by mathematician Roger Penrose.
