Peppermint Ornament

This ornament has two halves which press together to form a peppermint. I printed both halves in white and then printed both halves in red. This gave me two ornaments. I also could have changed filament half way through and gotten away with one print.

The fit was pretty tight on the two halves. If you scale this down, it might be too tight. The two halves are not just mirrors of each other, there is also a channel for the string from which it hangs. You will need to take care that this channel lines up between the two pieces before you press them together. It may be difficult to separate them once pressed together.

I printed with a brim because there are overhangs that rise from the build plate and that wanted to pull up the corners.
