Heads up:The adapters just snap onto the cut bottle edges, so they aren't rock-solid.If you need a secure, airtight seal, you might want to use some sealant. As long as the bottle fits, you can use the adapter kit on either half once it's cut:The top half (with the original mouth) plus an adapter works great as a dispenser for beans or grains.The bottom half plus an adapter makes a perfect storage canister. LEDs can get warm, so you can easily use a "modifier" in your slicer to add some vent holes in the lid for heat dissipation. You can also use a modifier or tweak the bottom thickness to make the lid breathable—perfect for catching bugs for observation.P
