Pet Gate Bracket for Stairs

I bought a retractable Pet gate to keep our new puppy from going upstairs. The problem is the gate latch/hooks that it came with require the need to drill holes to secure the latches. I want about to do that to the wooden railing I have on one side so I decided to make a latch/hooks that will allow me to use Velcro to wrap around the wooden railing. It worked out great!
