PEX Pennywhistle

This is a 3D printable pennywhistle/tinwhistle mouthpiece for sticking on inexpensive PEX tubing from the hardware store as part of a physics lesson on acoustics. It was adapted from mouthpieces designed for a renaissance recorder consort (see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5777473)...

For school use, a plus is PEX is much cheaper than PVC, 100 ft for 30 bucks; and it is softer (easy to cut to length using a PVC pipe cutter, easier to drill). I might try using PEX for a renaissance cornett or crumhorn too.
