So, I made an oval thing to extract a PF cup (24mm spindle, PF BB86).
When i installed the BB, the sleeve inside exploded. I think there isn't enough space in the frame for the sleeve. So i had to remove 1 freshly installed (pressed) cup.
The oval (puller.stl) slides in, it can't be thick otherwise you can't slide it in, behind you put a metal washer for rididity (must be just under 24mm otherwise wont slide in either), you put the tube.stl behind, then you add the BB install tool, on the side you want the cup extracted, you put your cup, for rigidity (so that the cup doesnt collapse), I found that a disc rotor works well, and then it takes seconds to extract the cup.
As often, it's all about the prep work.
Havent ridden the bike yet, i hope i can ride without that sleeve. Either way, the tool works, in that it does extract a BB86 PF bearing cup.
