Phone -> BodyCam

Use your phone as a body camera. This device securely holds your phone for hands-free recording. Fits most phones in their cases up to 170 mm x 83 mm x 20 mm (6.7 in x 3.26 in x 0.79 in). Add elastic cord to create a harness for a snug and comfortable fit, or zip tie to backpack strap. Opening in back provides access to phone screen.
Printing:
Print base, top, 2 bolts, faceplate and harness button. Support needed for the base and bolts. Choose from a mesh faceplate or one with the text "Lawful video recording in public". Change to contrasting text color for the top 0.6 mm of print. The top piece should be printed at 45 degree angle with one surface of the roof on the printer bed and the prongs upward. The bolts should be printed at a 45 degree angle with threaded end up. Print the harness button on edge with the the holes that are closer together at top and bottom to avoid printing support in the holes. Works well when printed in PETG; PLA may also work.
