Phone Holder for Android Auto

Hi!
The very common problem for Android Auto users, is that phones lose connections. This comes from a weak USB socket-outlet connection which suppose to drive high charging current. The solution is the holder with USB cable glued (the simplest: thermoglue) exactly at the correct position, which eliminates disconnections come from car vibrations. I tested this for weeks and number of disconnections dropped from a few a day to one a month!

The project in OpenScad helps to adjust box to your phone size. If you don't use a cover, put some soft material inside (adhesive glued felt)
