Phone Holder

In my class the challenge was to create an object that will help your functionality at your desk in some way. I chose to make a phone holder because of the wide popularity in phones. Everyone has a phone but doesn't always know where to put it and that's why I made this holder. The 3D design will help students when they need to use their phone for any type of work and can angle it towards them. One issue I came against was making the phone holder compact and also 3D printable. I couldn't make the over hang that I wanted but compromised with a more solid design. If I were to redesign this holder I would make it more hollow to try to look more modern. 3D printing will show how solid my design can be and maybe even fit other electronics such as an ipad.
