Phone Stand Amplifier

A friend of mine wanted a phone stand but he wanted enough room to plug his phone in while using the stand. He really wanted something that looked like the groovi monster so I came up with this.

I modelled it in AutoCAD which proved to be pretty challenging, probably would have been much easier in meshmixer or fusion.

The stand itself turns out to be pretty heavy (300g) or so, I haven't got around to trying to reduce that just yet. The supports that end up on the inside can be a hassle to get out

Works decent though

Should fit most smart phones, the one in the picture is a Samsung Galaxy S9.

Turns out I've lost the cad file to a hard drive so I unfortunately won't be updating this one. But I'll probably take another shot at it.
