I like to make time-lapses of all my prints, so I designed a hanger-frame-hook-thingy that holds my phone up to my Ultimaker 2+ printer in a position where my phone's camera can get a good view of the print bed and nozzle during a print. This makes for great time-lapses to show off your prints to others (I use an app on my phone called Framelapse).
The entirety of the print is 13.91cm tall and 5.30cm wide (5.474in x 2.087in). The hanger can hold any phone with a cross sectional area of up to 7.65cm x 1.20cm (3.012in x 0.472in). It has overhangs of 1.0cm (0.394in) in length so the phone wont fall out during a print. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 (with a thin case) and it seems to fit just fine.
I would definitely recommend printing with the back side down and support material for the overhangs (any infill should work). Also, I wouldn't scale it up or down because it might not fit on the printer as well.
It does tend to swing a little if the printer is bumped or shaking, so I would
