The design is a piston-cylinder type air supplier that allows the medical personnel to change the airflow rate to match each patient’s breathing patent. The main part of this component is based on a simple crank-slider mechanism to deliver the air to the patient. The crankshaft can be connected to a motor to operate automatically. There is a specially designed snap-on pin that allows the crank to fit into different levels, which change the volume of air that was pushed into the valve system. In emergency cases where complex computing systems are unavailable, this method can help medical personnel to physically change the airflow rate to a suitable (not necessarily optimal) level, whether the patients are children, adults, or elderlies. The material for these components is flexible as there are hardly any forces or pressures that can lead to failures. Therefore, they can be made entirely out of plastic and be 3d-printed. The cylinder casing is preferably made out of transparent materials so that medical personnel can make sure that it is working correctly.
