I wanted a pi camera v2 mount that fulfilled the following:
1. has to mount the camera securely (cannot just be a box that has a camera board flopping around in it)
2. has to print without supports (you will have to flip the back part over, but everything else loads in the correct orientation)
3. has to not be huge and ungainly
4. needs to print quickly (I printed this at .2mm with 20% infill in 1.5 hours)
5. needs to mount to 2020 rail
I couldn't find one that fulfilled all of these (especially #3, there are a ton of interesting looking mounts and arms out there, but a lot of them are big unwieldy things that could probably hold a dslr.)
So I made one. I hope other people can benefit.
This one also has the benefit that you don't need to take the camera out of the box to disconnect the cable.
I used m3x10mm screws to put everything together, and you can print as many arms as you need (I used 2). The holes in the base are a slip fit for the fasteners, and there is one
