I made this spotting camera to be able to view a remote target. The camera uses a Pi camera module with a separate lens. The case could also be used to house a raspberry pi Zero, particularly if it needs to function on battery power occasionally.
I printed all of the pieces except for the camera face without support.
I designed my own support structure for the camera face. There are stl files with and without the support.
I tapped the camera board mount after printing, since I was afraid that such a fine thread would not print well (M12x0.5 Tap used is listed below)
The Raspberry Pi Zero was secured with #4 x 1/4" sheet metal screws.
The camera board and Lipo charger were secured with #2 x 1/4" sheet metal screws.
I think in bright sunlight it may need a filter
The design was created in OpenSCAD
I did not use support created from a slicer, I added support into the design file.
The frame has support over the USB opening and the switch opening.
