Super inefficient masochistic pi 400 case. This was more of a proof of concept than a something I would recommend anyone making. Used this project to learn the basics about FreeCAD and 3d Printing.
In the end, this eyesore actually functions pretty well as a portable work station for hobbyist microcontroller tinkering /portable terminal. I printed at 4% infill as there were... limitations.... with the printer I had access to, and it is holding together well.
NOTES: Uses m2 screws and inserts. Recommend scaling the slides down to 99% so they fit better. You will need 8 of the connectors to attach the halves together. The weird slide out on the front right is for little add on items. A microusb is accessible in the cutouts and most microcontroller boards that I use fit the opening for building add on boards. I have the cover up sleeve included in the files.
Uses:
1. Pi 400
2. 8 inch WaveShare Capacitive Touch Display, 1280×800, Optical Bonding Toughened Glass Panel, HDMI/Type-C
