Pickle Ball Paddle

This is a Glowforge project. The handle grip is a 3D print.

The paddle was made from baltic birch plywood, 1/8" thick. The face is 3/8" thick total, 3 laminated pieces, with the middle sheet hollowed out on the face surface. This lightens the face and gives the paddle some pop when hitting the ball. The paddle has a nice feel, well balanced. The handle is large compared to some off-the-shelf paddles. The face has Ø3/16" dowel pins around the perimeter. The handle uses two 10-24 or 10-32 coupling nuts with four corresponding FHCS's to secure the plastic grips on.

When you get ready to glue it together have plenty of clamps on hand (you can never have too many clamps).
