Pig Ornament

A garden ornament bought at a community tag sale in southern California. About 5 inches high it weighs 4 pounds and is evidently a stone casting. The seller said that they are cast in Mexico, imported to the US, sealed with tinted varnish, and sold as souvenirs.

"Pig_full.stl" was created with a revopoint Pop 3 Plus 3D Scanner. "Pig_twothirds.stl" was modified with an openSCAD program. It contains an empty tapered tube which passes vertically through the model. Sixteen gauge copper wire enlarged at one end can be passed through the tube and serve as a hanger. The wire end can either be flattened with a hammer or bent sharply on itself with pliers to serve as a stop.

The openSCAD program is included.

The models were printed in Hatchbox Rose Gold PLA filament. No support was required.
