Pill Crusher

Hand-powered, screw-actuated pill crusher. 1.25 inch bore accommodates crushing multiple pills at once (though model may be scaled down). Pill bore and plunger are separated from threads so powder from crushed pills does not get into the threads. Arch shaped cutouts remove material where not needed for reduced material usage.

To use, insert pills into bore of the base part. *Screw on the top part until the pills are crushed. Unscrew top part to remove. Some powder may stick to plunger of top part that may be wiped off with finger. Tap bottom part to loosen pill powder and dump out to another container.

*Often when I'm crushing pills, the pills will crush partially then become hard to crush further. Just unscrew slightly, shake the pills around, then crush more, and repeat until fully crushed.
