Pillbox

A remodeled PILLBOX - completely made of plastic material - I've recently got as a pharmacy promotional gift. The most interesting feature is surely the design of the hinge, without using an additional hinge pin. In place of the hinge pin a "hinge cover" - made of plastic material - is used and fastened by a PRESS CONNECTION. Other alternative fastening procedures, like CLIP CONNECTION, SCREWING, RIVETING, GLUING, ULTRASONIC WELDING, LASER WELDING or FRICTION WELDING are conceivable. May be, that this simple concept of a hinge design could be used too for other technical applications. The model is available in following data formats: STEP file (.stp) of the assembly, STL files (.stl) of each component.
