This is a pilot mohawk accessory for the modiFi helmet.
It needs to be combined with the pilot forehead found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5213618
The parts included and the forehead above are colored green in the pictures.
There are several holes for M3 heat set thread inserts with a diameter of 4,6 mm.
Two on top two attach the mohawk to the helmet matching the recesses on the inside of the dome where you need to drill through. It is recommended to reinforce the drill holes with epoxy before attaching the mohawk. If using a resin cast helmet mark the middle of the holes on to both sides on the outside of the mohawk, adjust the mohawk on the helmet, trace the outer edge and add the marked position of the holes on the helmet. Now connect the marks of both sides and determine the middle. This is the position, where you need to drill.
Attach the parts using two M3 screws with a length of maximum 25 mm and two washers on the inside.
