I wanted to listen to my heart beats. I designed a Pinard stethoscope that fits snugly with this cheap microphone (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071171DBP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
It appears to work well, because I can hear my own heart beats quite well, especially after some post processing in Audacity.
