This is a remix of the original PiNAS but with changes to improve the airflow and cooling.
Original PiNAS: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3878669
Holes were added to the front case around the Pi logo vent to unshroud the fan blades to reduce the restriction of air exiting the housing. The improved flow also reduces fan noise. On the (RPi4 only) back case, the holes were enlarged to 4mm and relocated to improve the flow of air over the Raspberry Pi and hard drives.
There are two front case options. One that is 10mm longer and one that is 25mm longer.
-FireCuda SSHDs require the 10mm longer front case for clearance of a 40x10mm fan.
-Standard SSD or HDDs can fit a 40x20mm fan with this front case.
-FireCuda SSHDs require the 25mm longer front case for clearance of a 40x20mm fan.
To get the PiNAS to work with a Raspberry Pi4 B:
The RPi4 has (1) double USB 3.0 that has a completely different mounting interface to the board than USB 2.0; The RPi4 has (1)
