This is a trophy for a pinball tournament.
I printed everything using a 0.5 nozzle in ABS.
4 parts need to be printed.
1. The Tower this needs support Slic3r did a good job of slicing with support
2. The Flipper - needs a wide brim to prevent lifting during the print
I painted the flipper gold after printing.
3. The text panel, I printed this in black in the gcode I removed the lines that turn off the nozzle and bed heat, so he printer is ready to go for the actual text to be printed.
Leave the panel on the bed and change the filament (I used gold).
4. The text, I sliced this with a z offset of 2.9mm. I also had no brim and a skirt that was wider than the text panel. I started the print with the text panel still on the bed so with the z offset the test printed straight onto the text panel.
Text was created in Tinkercad. Font is Sans with a height of 6. I then adjusted the font height so it is 5.3mm and the text height over the panel is 1.52mm.
