Ping Pong Paddle

This Ping Pong Paddle is printed in two pieces using HATCHBOX Wood PLA for the paddle and ColorFabb transparent red PLA for the handle.
I printed both models laying flat so that the cylindrical pillars on the handle and the paddle itself had as much strength as possible. The handle needs supports when printing in this orientation though. You could print the handle on the flat bottom but you would probably need supports for the outside tips. The polls that go into the paddle might break easily if printed this way.
The paddle is printed without supports but I did use a raft and it looked very clean once removed.
It is a tight fit connecting the prints. I used a small hammer and towel to do most of the connection after getting the initial insertion.
If anyone wants me to resize the connections I can. I just wanted a tight fit so that you didn't need glue.
