Pinocchio nose

If you have a kid playing in "Shrek - The Musical" you know the problem: Pinocchio's nose has to grow whenever he lies.

Came up with this one. Actuator and nose have to be connected with a silicone tube. I used a 6.5mm outer/4mm inner diameter tube from Amazon. Fed 0.105 in rigid weed eater string through the tube and hot-glued the tube to the hole in the nose and the string to the nose tip.
Fed the string into the slider and fixated it with super glue.

The tubing and string need lubrication. I used non-toxic garage door lubricant.
